Traktor DJ for iPhone App Reviews

While changing deck views and controlling effects the whole app crashed abruptly. Pretty bad if your trying to dj. I recommend dj player.

It wont open now , everyone I try and launch the app it force closes.

I like it, not crazy about the user interface but its good. I prefer the Dj app: "deej." Looks like your standard mixer, works great, flange, echo, filters, 2 decks etc, and its free.

Please fix

Ok, real nice app guys. But ..."recommended tracks".? Please- at lease give me a way to turn this off and a HUGE button to take me back to the playlist I got my last track off. Why must you make loading a track from a playlist I want to stay in so hard?? give me an option to kill recommended tracks and youre at 5 stars. That "feature" is a show stopper.

Love this app, I have it on my iPhone and its even better on my iPad!! Just wish there was a way to see key compatible tracks from my individual playlist!!

Im writing this mainly because I was reading these reviews and saw several requests for the app to sync with Apple Music. My hunch is that this is currently not possible because Apple Music uses DRM protected songs, whereas something like iTunes Match does not. Anyone who has experience with the desktop Traktor software most likely knows that it will not load a DRM protected song. So thats my theory as to why that wont happen. As for the app, I echo the other reviewers praises, as well as many of the suggestions for further improvement. Which many to me, albeit as someone who does not have experience programming software, seem like reasonable and very simple improvements. An example would be: Being able to set your preferred behavior when returning to the track selection window to either show recommended tracks, or return to the album/playlist you were just viewing. Other improvements, like more robust effects options (multiple effects on one track), or integration with the desktop software would also be welcome, but I imagine would be more involved programming-wise. And from a business perspective, I imagine NI looks at the iOS apps it offers as "gateway drugs" to there desktop software and controllers. So their "fear of making the iOS apps too capable, thus making their main source of revenue less attractive/irrelevant" is understandable, but I hope that changes too. Im sure many people would gladly in-app purchase many features. If thats not good enough, what about offering owners of NIs physical controllers/desktop software the option of unlocking other features or integration by registering their respective serial numbers/through Service Center? That way youd still require customers to purchase a Maschine controller or Traktor controller, but then the serious users of your products would have the ability to integrate the iOS apps deeper into their studio/performance, beyond a mobile sketch pad. And you could provide competition for apps like Lemur, Touch OSC, etc. All right, rant over. All that said, I highly recommend Native Instruments apps. Mainly wanted to posit a possible answer to the lack of Apple Music sync-ability.

I have the 6s+ with iOS 9 and the app crashes within 15 min. No acknowledgment or fix from NI. Please research and create a fix for the problem. No good for my business if RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF A PAID GIG THE DANG APP CLOSES FOR NO REASON.

Killer app and definitely recommend to please use it. No regrets

Better absolutely the best !!

App is generally pretty sweet, but it runs a service in the background that kills the battery on my 5S in less than 8 hours. When I looked a minute ago, it ran for 20.6 hours of the last 24 and consumed 82% of my battery even though I havent used the app in days.

Love the app. Just picked up a kontrol S2 and its totally seamless 10 out of 10 would recommend

I love the app, I just wish you had better integration with Apple Music playlists that I create.

Is a great app, but need an update for the iPhone 6 las and 6S Plus

Ive used this do do gigs before and everything just for fun etc but when I record my mixes and try to upload on mixcloud it loads to 100%and then the application quits and it doesnt upload the mix
